Bomb blasted in Chuadanga, two recovered in Meherpur

Criminals blasted two bombs at a bus counter at Darshana in Damurhuda upazila in Chuadanga, while two bombs were recovered from Gangni upazila in Meherpur on Wednesday night.
Two were injured in Chuadanga blast.
According to police, unidentified criminals hurled two bombs targeting the counter of Delux Paribahan, a transport service across the country from Chuadanga at about 8.35:pm. The bombs blasted with heavy sound.
Several passengers were at the counter when the bombs were blasted.
“No causality was reported,” Sub-Inspector Oaliur Rahman, In-Charge of Karpusdanga camp who visited the spot told.
According to sources, criminals demanded extortion to owner of the transport Biswanath Basu several months ago.
The criminals threatened Bosu as he denied to pay the money.
This correspondent tried to contact with Biswanath through mobile phone but failed.
In Meherpur, police recovered two bombs from Daspara village in Gangni upazila at about 9.30: pm on Wednesday.
