Five including father-son killed in Kushtia in road mishaps

Five including a father and son was killed in separate road accidents in Kushtia on Friday and Sunday.
Of them, two were killed in Daulatpur and one school boy was killed in Kumarkhali upazila in the district.
In Daulatpur, a truck hit Saidul, 38 and his 8-year old Alif when they were crossing road at Seikhpara village on Kushtia-Pragpur road at about 11.30:am.
In Kuamarkhali, the schoolboy was identified as Safiqul Islam, son of Muktar Biswas. He was a student of class-II at Birikoya Primary School.
Police sources told that a shallow engine driven tractor knocked him down while he was crossing the road in front of his house, leaving him dead on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge of Kumarkhali Thana Abdur Razzak told bangle news that they
seized the tractor and the body was sent to hospital morgue.
Two including a truck driver and helper was killed after their truck fell in a roadside ditch just after hitting another one from behind at Talbaria in Mirpur upazila in the district on Sunday.
The killed was identified as driver Abdur Rahid, 38, son of late Abdul MadanĀ  of Saliakandi Bogroa and helper Alamgir Hossain, 30, son of Afil Hossain of Sadullahpur in Gaibanda district.
Additional Police Super of Kushtia Sohel Reza told that a Jessore bound truck from Bogra hit the truck standing on roadside at about 8.30:am and fell into roadside ditch leaving the two dead on the spot.
Police from Mirpur police station recovered the dead bodies and sent to Kushtia general hospital for autopsy.
